Founder
RON MIONE
- In 1961 Ron graduated from Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades as a carpenter.
- After graduating, Ron worked at Amp, Inc. as a technical illustrator. He was committed to Amp for 11 years before having the courage to start his own construction business.
- In 1972 Ron created “Mione Remodeling”, better known today as Mione Family Remodeling.
- In 2007 Ron gifted his son, Chris, ownership of the company. Sadly, Ron passed away on September 8th 2008. Our final company name, Mione Family Remodeling, suits us better than all the rest. We strive to continue on, grow, and be the large family business that Ron created.
President & Owner
CHRIS MIONE
Chris received his Associate Degree of Applied Science in Building Construction Technology in 1988. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State in 1991.
After completing college, he became a Certified Graduate Remodeler.
In 1992, he joined Ron’s company, sparking our first name change to “Mione and Son Remodeling.”
Over the last 40 years, Chris has gained invaluable experience, along with many certifications along the way.

Steven
Project Supervisor & Carpenter Extraordinaire
Steven brings deep carpentry expertise and a steady, detail‑driven approach to every project. As a project supervisor, he keeps jobs running smoothly and ensures the final result meets MFR’s high standards. He enjoys early mornings, fishing, and spending time outdoors. The patience and focus that come naturally to him in those settings show up in the way he leads crews and approaches each build.
James
Foreman & Master Carpenter
James is a master carpenter with a strong eye for detail and a calm, steady presence on the jobsite. He values craftsmanship, family, and his faith, and he brings those values into the work he does every day. His appreciation for antiques and the stories behind them influences the way he approaches each project with respect, care, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Jim
Foreman & Lead Carpenter
Jim leads with experience, precision, and a strong understanding of how to bring a project from concept to completion. As a foreman and lead carpenter, he ensures every detail is executed with care and craftsmanship. He’s proud to work alongside friends and family every day, building spaces with intention and taking genuine satisfaction in making our customers happy.
Joe
Field & Office Assistant
Joe supports both the field and office teams, keeping projects organized and moving smoothly. He is known for being dependable and ready to help wherever he is needed. Outside of work, family is his priority, and he enjoys baseball and exploring new places and new food. His natural sense for the small things that matter helps him stay organized and keep projects on track.
John
Trained Carpenter & Field Technician
John is a skilled carpenter who brings energy, precision, and a positive attitude to every project. He enjoys fishing, riding his motorcycle, and mountain biking. Family, his dog, and being a kind person are important parts of who he is, and it shows in the way he works with our clients.
Ben
Trained Carpenter & Field Technician
Ben brings solid carpentry skills and a steady, reliable work ethic to every project. He loves being outdoors, whether he’s fishing, hiking or out on his motorcycle. Family is a big part of his life, and he spends his time with his dad and brothers, form Tuesday night dinners to weekend drives. That sense of connection and loyalty shows in the way he works with homeowners and the team.
Hank
Trained Carpenter & Field Technician
Hank is our newest member of the Mione Family Remodeling team, bringing fresh enthusiasm and solid hands-on experience. He supports the field crew with hands-on carpentry work and is quickly becoming a reliable part of the team. The combination of his positive energy and the practical skills he’s built over the years shows in the way he contributes on every job.
Denise
Office Administrator
She manages scheduling, billing, and the daily operations that keep the office moving. Her work is a key part of keeping projects organized and on track. She enjoys gardening and time with her granddaughters, and she brings a reliable, steady presence to everything she handles.
Emily
Social Media & Office Assistant
Emily helps manage our social media, highlight our projects, and supports daily office operations. Her interest in hand embroidery and the grounding influence of her faith add a thoughtful, intentional touch to her work. The care she brings to each task shows in the way she represents Mione Family Remodeling and supports how we stay connected with our community.
